Åsmund Gylder was today given the award in memory of Hans Christian Ostrø for his commitment to the One People project. Ostrø was taken hostage and brutally killed by terrorists in Kashmir 1995, only 27 years old. The award has each year been given to artist and individuals who in one way or the other is working for peace and cultural unity. Åsmund was given the award in a small ceremony today by Liv Ullmann, Thorvald Stoltenberg and Anette Ostrø.
